Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Barrister with a strong background in Housing Disrepair or Civil Litigation to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a prestigious Manchester-based firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Handle a caseload of housing disrepair or civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Client Representation: Advocate for clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and settlements.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Documentation: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with solicitors and other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive case management.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Qualified Barrister with a valid practicing certificate.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Housing Disrepair or Civil Litigation.
  • Skills: Exceptional advocacy, research, and drafting skills. Strong ability to work independently in a remote setting.
