Senior Infrastructure Engineer | £45,000 - £55,000 | Hybrid | MSPAre you passionate about building modern, resilient, and scalable IT infrastructure?Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) team that helps businesses unlock the full potential of their technology.In this role, you’ll design and deliver enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions across Microsoft, Azure, and virtualisation platforms. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients, helping them modernise, migrate, and optimise their environments — all while driving innovation and best practice in every engagement.What You’ll DoDesign, implement, and support Microsoft-based solutions including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Azure.Deliver consultancy across modern data centre technologies such as VMware/Hyper-V, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.Lead migration and transformation projects from legacy to cloud and hybrid environments.Assess client infrastructures, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end managed services and solutions.Provide technical input for proposals and solution design during pre-sales stages.Produce high-quality documentation and ensure projects are delivered to specification.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.About YouProven experience in enterprise or MSP environments.Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies:Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, Group PolicyMicrosoft 365, Exchange OnlineMicrosoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security)Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.Understanding of storage, networking, and backup solutions.Solid grasp of IT security principles in hybrid environments.Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.Desirable certifications:Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect / Security EngineerVMware VCPITIL FoundationVendor certifications such as Cisco, Veeam, NetApp, Dell/EMC, or HPEPlease apply now for immediate consideration
