The role


We are recruiting for an experienced and strategic Digital Senior Media Planner/Buyer. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital media strategies that meet our client's marketing objectives and needs. This role requires a deep understanding of digital media platforms, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage digital media campaigns from the planning stage through to execution and optimization.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop comprehensive digital media plans that align with client's marketing goals and target audiences
  • Define clear and measurable campaign objectives in line with the client’s business goals.
  • Media planning, develop comprehensive media plans that outline the channels, platforms, and ad formats to be used
  • Allocating campaign budgets across different channels to maximize ROI
  • Negotiate and purchase digital media space across various platforms, ensuring optimal reach and cost-efficiency
  • Maintain strong relationships with digital media vendors and platforms to secure the best rates and placements
  • Oversee the execution of digital media campaigns, ensuring they are launched on time and meet performance expectations
  • Monitor campaign performance in real-time, making necessary adjustments to optimize results
  • Ad trafficking, setting up and managing digital ad campaigns across various platforms
  • Continuously monitor and optimise campaigns to improve performance, including A/B testing, adjusting bids, and targeting
  • Manage digital media budgets, ensuring expenditures align with planned allocations
  • Utilize digital analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and generate insights
  • Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, providing actionable recommendations for future campaigns
  • Work closely with creative, account management, and broader digital teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution
  • Partner with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on campaign progress


The person


  • Degree educated in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital media planning and buying, preferably in an agency setting.
  • A track record of delivering successful digital media campaigns and strong vendor relationships
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
