Harnham is excited to bring you an opportunity to partner with a globally leading technology company specialising in R&D You will be joining a department specialising in their gaming ecosystem and supporting the tech company and video game partners to optimise their products on their platforms

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 As a Senior Game Optimisation Engineer, you will be:

  • Developing plugins, Android APIs and demos to support and improve the performance of video games on their platforms
  • Work closely with game companies and provide them with actionable insights on how to better optimise their games for the client's devices
  • Study how to improve the performance of apps on their platforms, particularly focusing on CPUs.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
 The successful applicant will have the following:

  • A degree in a related field such as a STEM subject.
  • Experience in game engine optimisation, particularly Unity, Unreal Engine or similar
  • A background in supporting game or tech companies with video game optimisation
  • Strong modern C++ skills
  • Experience working with Android development (Perfetto, ADB, Gradle)
  • Java and/or C# would be a bonus

THE BENEFITS
