Our Client, a telecoms company based in Berkshire is replacing their legacy systems for accounting and accounts payable with D365. The scope of D365 will be AP / AR / GL / FA / Procurement / Reporting. The initial rollout will be for our 12 UK and Ireland legal entities, with expansion into our overseas companies to follow as a second phase.

Primary Responsibilities:


Lead the teams SME in ensuring that you define and design optimal processes in D365.


- Understand how the financial billing systems work & interface with existing accounting systems

- Work with the subject matter experts to identify & design a D365 solution that uses data lake and custom tables as intermediary accounting and primary reporting layers

- Deliver process diagrams & data lake content architectures

- Act as a checkpoint to partner proposed processes and be prepared to challenge where necessary


Preferred experience of:

- Data lake

- D365 R2R – revenue, cost of sales & margin reporting

- Integration – bespoke billing systems

- Integration between bespoke billing systems / data lake / D365

- Data architecture & reporting – Azure data lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Server, Power BI

- Canonical data models, medallion lakehouse architecture

The Candidate

- Experienced data architect working with D365 data lake & financial reporting solutions

- Able to work onsite in Newbury as required
