The goal of the Senior Business Consultant (Level 2) is to contribute to the success of the project by providing specific software and industry experience while mentoring other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide industry and functional advice and troubleshooting in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of the Endur solution for the client’s business needs.
  2. Present the Endur solution to client users.
  3. Support the deliverables of the Technical Consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions (reports, plugins, and interfaces) as directed by Product Manager.
  4. Consult with client users to determine business requirements and work processes to be addressed by one or more areas of the Endur solution.
  5. Demonstrate deep knowledge in one or more areas of Endur configuration and in one or more energy commodities.
  6. Provide guidance to Business Consultants in one or more functional areas of the Endur solution.
  7. Assist with delivery services best practices as directed by Line Manager.
  8. Assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the Endur implementation, reporting to the Project Manager.
  9. Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project as determined by the Project Manager and Lead Business Consultant.
  10. Keep Line Manager and Project Manager(s) informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilities.
  11. Adhere to implementation best practices in one or more functional areas of the ION solution in all functional design, specifications, custom coding, unit testing, and other deliverables.
  12. Follow ION documentation standards and resolution process flow for all deliverables.
  13. Maintain full chargeability on client account(s) as assigned.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  1. Openlink Endur product experience in implementations per role profile.
  2. 5+ years' experience in ETRM industry, systems implementation or similar project exposure and preferably experience in a consulting or similar role.
  3. Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field.
  4. Ability to work as part of a project team structure.
  5. Ability to work onsite at client locations.
  6. 4 to 6 years of direct experience at ION or other Software Company in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Endur installations in client environments of experience.
  7. 4 to 6 years industry experience or consulting experience.
  8. 4 to 6 years systems experience.
  9. Good interpersonal skills.
  10. Good written and oral communication skills.
