Do you have experience working with strategic procurement with a worldwide supplier base? Are you looking for a long term contract with a company who can offer an autonomous role and the chance to further your career?

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

This role will be working as part of a global team where you will be responsible for working with a global supplier base and be in charge of a £70 million annual spend. You will play a key part in the strategic procurement of a range of materials and parts as well as being involved in a range of cost reduction projects across the business. The role will involve some travel to suppliers within the UK and Europe on occasion. This role is a 37 hour week with an early finish on Fridays working Inside of IR35 regulations. This role allows hybrid working with a minimum requirement of 3 days a week on site.

The Role:

  • Working on strategic procurement from a global supplier base
  • Managing a £70 million spend within a fast paced role
  • 37 hour week with hybrid working opportunities working Inside of IR35 regulations

The Person:

  • Category Manager with experience working in a manufacturing background
  • Previous experience working on strategic procurement and cost reduction projects
  • Looking for a long term 24 month contract that offers hybrid working opportunities
