Also different are the challenges around equipment repair, maintenance and availability.     You can see there's a lot to get your teeth into.  We didn't even get started on the ongoing training & mentorship of your team, making improvements to the overall efficiency of the hire and turn-around process or maximising equipment on-hire utilisation.   PERSON SPECIFICATION: Depot Manager / Operations Manager / Branch Manager / Hire   To step into this role you'll need to be an experienced Depot Manager / Operations Manager / Branch Manager.   While the kit will be different, your skills will be transferable so you could have managed depots or branches across:   · Plant, tool, powered access, lifting, crane. · Welfare, generators, forklifts. · HGV, agricultural equipment, attachments or equipment hire.   But, you might have managed Trade Depot's / Hire Depot's within Builders Merchants, Timber or Plumbing Merchants, etc.     Whatever your background you'll be able to demonstrate: · A proven track record of team leadership. · The ability to take ownership of projects and tasks. · Excellent communication skills, be able to take people on a journey with you.   · Superb organisational skills.   Above all you'll need to bring the energy and desire to develop those around you as well as thrive while being in the thick of things.     THE COMPANY:  We're a global leader in the design, manufacture and deployment of innovative construction solutions.
