Partner Financial is partnering with a Private Equity-backed Saas business, experiencing rapid growth and is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in a forward-thinking, innovative organisation committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions and fostering long-term growth.
As an Interim Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of the organisation's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will be pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of the business while leveraging your expertise to provide strategic insights that will drive data-driven decision-making at both the operational and executive levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.
- Overseeing and refining financial controls and processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Managing cashflow and working capital, providing accurate and actionable reporting to support business operations.
- Driving the budgeting and forecasting process, working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Developing and implementing enhanced financial systems and reporting tools to support scalability and business growth.
- Providing FP&A support, including scenario modelling, KPI development, and strategic analysis to inform decision-making.
- Partnering with the CFO to provide insights and recommendations to the board and investors.
The Ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent),
- Experience of working for a Saas SME business at a similar capacity.
- Adept at balancing detailed financial controls with forward-looking analysis and strategic insight.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to deliver with precision in a fast-paced environment.
