As a Test Engineer you will support test delivery of our projects and changes. You will bring excellent skills to drive test quality across delivery utilising defined standards and best practice. You will also have a deep understanding of software testing its main principles and processes: different testing levels types test estimation and reporting. The successful candidate will be proactive confident team player who can work in a dynamic agile environment with good communication skills to interact with business and technical colleagues. You will also actively contribute to continuous improvement and promote QA across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a forward-thinking organisation while developing your skills in a collaborative and quality-driven environment.What you bringGood experience across the full software testing lifecycle within Agile environments with a very good grasp of testing principles and methodologies.Expertise in test levels and strategy including the ability to guide teams on what to test (and what not to) from unit testing through to UAT.Proactive in driving process and practice improvements to enhance team efficiency and software delivery quality.Good technical understanding of system architecture including application servers databases web services cloud infrastructure and Oracle PL/SQL.Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and messaging protocols with hands-on experience using tools such as Swagger and Postman.Very good communication and collaboration skills essential for working effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.Relevant qualifications or equivalent practical experience with proficiency in tools like Confluence JIRA Zephyr and ALMYou can expect more from a career with SLC.
