Commis Chef - NO LATE NIGHTS Are you a Commis Chef, looking for a new challenge?We are looking for a Commis Chef to join a stunning café, located on a clifftop, we are surrounded by spectacular viewsThis is a great oppoutunity to join a prestigious business with plenty of scope to develop further.Key Information:* Salary: £10 per hour* Location: Barton On Sea* Contract: Permanent* Hours: 5/7 days, finish at 5pm Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs & Sun - cooking until 8pm Friday and Saturday so finish at 9pm.Key Responsibilities of the role include:*Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food preparation*Preparation of fresh quality dishes with good quality ingredients locally sourced.*Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.*Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen*Work alongside the kitchen teamRequired skills include:*A basic understanding of produce and ingredients*Experience in the kitchen*Basic knowledge of food production methods*Embrace new ideas and processes*Positive and approachable mannerIn order to be successful, you'll need to have:*Experience working in a similar environment*Ability to follow instructions*High Standards of hygieneUnfortunately, due to the large volume of applications we receive, we can only respond to applicants with relevant work experience.Eligibility:In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.
