The Role:
As an Ocean Import/Export Freight Operator, you’ll oversee the full process for both imports and exports, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of shipments. From booking cargo to managing delivery logistics, you’ll work closely with customers and partners to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and book cargo with shipping lines.
- Manage all required documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate both import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with international shipping standards.
- Oversee the collection and delivery process to ensure shipments reach their final destination on time.
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to cover all forwarding operations.
- Book freight movements across multiple transport modes.
