This major player in the civil infrastructure and transportation space is looking for an individual with a passion for contract management, a solid understanding of the engineering and construction sectors, and how to manage risk and create value when working with suppliers of security products and services.
As the Contract Specialist for Security Services, you will be working on a wide range of complex work packages that will include all manner of security products and services such as Scanners & X-ray machines, Drones, CCTV, Metro Police Services, and much more. These are often highly regulated work packages dealing with a very restricted supplier base so requires excellent knowledge of industry regulations and contract management processes to minimize risk and adhere to compliance regulations.
To be considered for the position of Contract Specialist you should have the following background and experience:-
- You have worked in regulated sectors like engineering, public sector, security, or construction and have handled project-based work
- You are a detailed oriented project manager, preferably with a Six Sigma certification
- You have a deep understanding of technical contract terms in order to easily identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
- You have worked with security products and services and understand the supplier landscape
- You should be able to work autonomously when it comes to contract drafting and terms negotiations
