Field Service Engineer

Titon is a leading provider of innovative and sustainable ventilation solutions, committed to creating healthier and more comfortable environments for our customers. With a focus on cutting-edge technology and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team.

c£45,000 per annum plus van


remote working across the Country- 3 days per week

working from our offices in Colchester or Haverhill - 2 days per week

 

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

·        Provide technical assistance to customers in person, over the phone, or via email.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ventilation systems promptly and efficiently.

·        Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions or system failures.

·        Implement repairs, replace faulty components, and perform adjustments to restore functionality.

Customer Training:

·        Conduct training sessions for customers on the proper use and maintenance of ventilation systems.

·        Create training materials and documentation for customers.

Preventive Maintenance:

·        Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficiency of ventilation systems.

·        Perform routine maintenance checks on-site.

Quality Assurance:

·        Ensure that all ventilation systems meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

·        Conduct regular audits to identify potential improvements.

Collaboration:

·        Work closely with sales teams to provide technical support during pre-sales activities.

·        Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product development.

Documentation:

·        Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities.

·        Document customer interactions and feedback for continuous improvement.

Emergency Response:

·        Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions.

 

Health and Safety Compliance:

·        Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance and repair activities.

·        Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards associated with equipment operation.

Inventory Management:

·        Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and necessary equipment for maintenance tasks.

·        Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required components.

·         

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·        Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer in the ventilation systems industry.

·        Strong technical and troubleshooting skills related to ventilation equipment.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·        Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
