SW-007-Carpenter-195 Carpenter £20 - £23 per hour Working for a Maintenance Contractor Based around South Birmingham (B29 5UP) Long-term temp role | Social Housing Maintenance | Van & Fuel Card Provided Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team working across properties in B29 5UP. This is a long-term temporary position carrying out a mixture of day-to-day repairs, planned works, and general maintenance within occupied and void properties. The ideal candidate will be a strong 2nd Fix Carpenter with reliable multi-trade skills and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality repairs to a good standard. Key Responsibilities As a Carpenter Multi-Trader, your duties will include: * Completing carpentry repairs, renewals and installations in occupied properties * Undertaking multi-trade works including: * Plumbing repairs (like-for-like) * Tiling (mainly splashbacks) * Patch plastering * Painting & decorating * General domestic repairs * Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible * Planning and managing your own daily workload to meet contract SLAs * Logging works accurately on a PDA and completing daily job sheets * Ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and qualit...
