We are looking for a Sample Preparation Technician to support our highly respected and knowledgeable Laboratory team. This position requires someone with good organisational skills who is able to clearly follow verbal and written instructions. This is a fast-paced working environment where you will be working alongside a talented team of experts in a friendly, supportive and innovative environment. About The Team: RPS Laboratories is a team of Analysts, Chemists, and Technicians that operate from purpose-built laboratory facilities which have a long history of providing expert advice and analytical solutions to the agrochemical sector. Our laboratories enjoy an international reputation for solving complex and novel analytical problems in a wide variety of food, feed, and forage crops. We have state-of-the-art laboratories in Bedford and Manchester: • Our Manchester laboratory was one of the first laboratories in the UK to gain MCERTS accreditation for the analysis of stack emissions. • Our Bedford laboratory was one of the first laboratories in the UK to gain UKAS accreditation for the analysis of PFAS chemicals following the monitoring required at the Buncefield oil terminal.
