Join us and help keep the nations critical networks connected and protected 24/7.Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, the Delivery Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Minor Works projects within the London Projects Business portfolio. These works are awarded either through Asset Management Maintenance contracts or directly via 3 rd Party Contractors.This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in our Canning Town (London) two days per week, with travel across the London / South areas on a weekly basis.What you'll do: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Minor Works projects, from quoting and planning through delivery and close-out across customer accounts Drive timely project closure, including proactive follow-up on Payment Applications and outstanding invoices. Maintain regular and effective communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders Own the financial performance of assigned Minor Works, collaborating closely with the Finance team to ensure accuracy and accountability. Generate performance and status reports for assigned Minor Works, collaborating with the PMO to present insights to Senior Management. Serve as the first point of contact for Commercial Management of Minor Works, escalating appropriately and supporting Telent Commercial teams in resolving issues. Partner closely with the Health and Safety team to manage incidents professionally and implement corrective actions effectively, visiting site and and when necessaryWho you are:You will have previous experience in an Assistant Project Management / Delivery Management role, ideally within the Asset Management function. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to lead and motivate a small team.Key Requirements: Project Management qualification such as APM PMQ or equivalent in an appropriate discipline. Successfully managing safety requirements to regulatory standards; experience of managing a safety culture to ensure 'everyone goes home safely'. Formal Health and Safety Training including IOSH. Experience of managing and delivering minor works and projects Commercial, Financial and Project Management experience to a high standard demonstrable for all previous project works for small-medium scale projects circa £500k. Experience of managing teams of both in-house and external contract resource to successfully delivery project milestones and completion targets.
