HEAD OF GLOBAL B2B SALES

My client is a renowned Outdoor Roof-Top Tent Provider and is looking for a Head of Global B2B Sales to turn £18M into over £100M. They are currently operating at 90% D2C, directly through their own website. One of their key goals is to open up the B2B channel globally. They are aiming to hit £100m revenue globally in 3-5 years. International expansion is a big part of this. B2B channel expansion is also key. The company has grown from 12 to 35 people in the past 12 months.

I am looking for someone with B2B sales experience who is willing to get stuck in, setting up processes, pushing projects forwards, building strong relationships. The team can grow as we start to see results and we want the head of B2B to be part of that team planning.

Responsibilities:

? Amazon - Manage and grow the channel. We currently work with an Amazon agency, which is fine. They just need to be managed well / replaced if deemed necessary.

? Retailers - Big box retailers, UK, EU and USA. We have some existing relationships and interest (Halfords, B&Q, Costco, Cotswold Outdoors), but retail is typically difficult due to the size of our products. Our new product means we can actually offer something compelling to retail. This needs focus, process and excellent relationship management.

? Sales reps - With the new product in particular, we believe we can have success working with sales reps in the UK, EU and USA, particularly with the smaller chains / independent outdoor retailers. Part of the role will be to set up these sales rep relationships, make sure they have what they need, and monitor them.

? Dealers - These are typically independent retailers (caravan showrooms etc.). They must have all tents in stock and on display, and they act as our physical showrooms. In return, we list them on our website. We need to improve these in the UK and set up a similar system in the EU and USA.

? International Distributors - Essentially we want to work with distributors in other promising regions (other than the EU, UK and USA). South Korea, Japan, Australia for example. We have a few in the pipeline, but we need better control over the process.

The ideal candidate will:

? Have experience in the outdoor / consumer space.

? Have a ‘black book’ that includes relevant retail accounts, distributors and sales reps.

? Be a self-starter and willing to get stuck-in to set up the B2B side of the business.

? Be excellent at setting up and managing processes and projects.

? Be a good team leader.

? Have experience with all (or most) of the above B2B channels (sales reps, distributors, amazon, retailers, independent)
