Xec-t consultancy is pleased to working with an excellent firm in Hampshire seeking a Paralegal to join their friendly team.


Purpose:

To engage in fee-generating activities and contribute to the profitability of the department, aligning with the Firm's Strategic Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients and manage their legal matters effectively.
  • Support colleagues with their fee-earning tasks, particularly during their absence.
  • Assist in training Legal Administrators.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding their cases.
  • Address client queries and concerns related to their matters.
  • Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients and other professionals as needed.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Adhere to Money Laundering Regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Firm’s internal policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Participate in training sessions organized by the Firm.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in client relationship management.
  • Ability to independently handle a caseload.
  • Proficient secretarial skills.
  • Sound commercial awareness.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to the role and responsibilities.
