Day to day of the role:
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial insurance sector.
  • Evaluate commercial insurance policies to ensure comprehensive coverage and compliance with industry standards.
  • Negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage enhancements with insurers.
  • Conduct risk assessments for clients and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide the best advice and service to clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an account executive in commercial insurance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policy coverage and industry operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CII, ACII) are highly regarded but not essential.
