As Communications Manager Asset Management youll help deliver strategic PR initiatives that promote our distribution capabilities across UK and international markets. This is a dynamic opportunity to work with senior stakeholders manage reputational issues and contribute to high-impact campaigns in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.What youll be doing:Partnering with the Senior Communications Manager for Distribution focus on developing and executing strategic PR initiatives that showcase Legal & Generals distribution activities across UK and international asset management markets. Working closely with internal teams to craft compelling narratives aligned with business goals identifying media opportunities producing press materials and thought leadership content and preparing senior spokespeople for interviews press briefings and speaking engagements to ensure impactful representationWorking with the business to identify reputational risks leading on developing media plans to mitigate reputational issues as well as leading with crisis communication issuesBuilding and maintaining relationships with relevant journalists and publications including outside of the UKMonitoring and measuring media engagement to inform and guide media activity and implement metrics models to measure and report on effectiveness of external communications activitiesWorking with the Senior communications manager to ensure effective day to day management of our network of UK and international PR agencies and to work in partnership with asset management marketing and investor relations to ensure messaging is alignedSupporting the management of the media budgets and maintain the External Communications team processes and documentation to ensure timely compliant communications. Uphold governance compliance and risk frameworks to align decisions with business ethics values and stakeholder expectationsEnsuring communications are reviewed and approved by individuals who have the appropriate knowledge skills and expertise and that such approval is recordedQualifications : Who were looking for:Knowledge of external communications campaigns PR approaches and media relations practices and tactics.Understanding of UK asset management finance or investment industry.Knowledge of business and finance media landscape including international journalists.5 years of experience in asset management or financial services PR.Experience in developing and executing PR strategies and campaigns for high-profile organisations.Team player with a strong work ethic who takes a collaborative and joined-up approach to tasks but is also comfortable working independently.Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise effectively multi-task quickly and efficiently adapt to new situations in a fast-paced environmentExcellent writing editing and verbal communication skillsExperience with crisis communications and reputation managementExperience dealing with non-UK media particularly Asia mediaLanguage skills desirableExperience mentoring colleaguesThe ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.Ability to operate with discretion maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.Whatever your role we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
