Thorne and Wait are recruiting for a Transport administrator/planner to who is friendly, hard-working and loves the buzz of getting things done. Role summary: Support the Shift Manager in completion of daily de-briefs to ensure high standards of Customer service and compliance with all operational processes. Key responsibilities:• Cooperation and communication with freight forwarders, Customer service and Warehouse admin team • Weekly meetings with Customer service and Warehouse admin team• Monitor and answer daily emails• Make appointments for loading and delivery slots and update all necessary files • Coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, considering internal operational processes• Preparation of transport documents • Preparation and creation of the customs documents• Planning of deliveries from the company's own truck• Invoice check on the request • Shipment tracking for Customer Service• Creation of pick-up orders• Complaint Management• Creation and analysis of internal statistics on key figures relevant to departments• Perform in collaboration with Transportation Manager to enhance shipping structure• Advise Transportation Manager and Supervisor of all transportation related issues• Continuous Improvement This is an active role and a great opportunity to thrive in a fantastic team environment and grow with the company.Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pmIf you or anyone you know is looking for work and believe that this role and company is for you.
