With over 30 years in the logistics industry, this company handles a wide variety of cargo - from specialist goods to heavy machinery - and offers tailored freight solutions by sea, air, and road. You'll be joining a team that prides itself on delivering a personal, efficient, and reliable service to clients worldwide. The Role As anImport / Export Coordinator , you will be responsible for managing international shipments from quotation through to final delivery. You will handle both import and export operations across multiple modes of transport and work closely with customers, suppliers, and agents to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods. Key Responsibilities Coordinate import and export shipments by sea, air, and road. Manage freight forwarding processes from quotation to delivery. Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and partners. Ensure documentation and customs requirements are completed accurately. Work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Essential Skills and Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding (imports or exports). Proven ability to manage shipments from quotation through to delivery. Strong communication and organisational skills. Positive, proactive attitude and excellent attention to detail. Desirable Skills Experience completing import customs entries. Familiarity with Boxtop and Descartes systems. Experience using CNS/Destin8 platforms.
