With a focus on cutting-edge technologies, our client plays a crucial role in enabling innovation in various sectors including MEMS, advanced packaging, LED, RF devices, and power semiconductors.Role SummaryOur Client is seeking a talented Manufacturing Design Engineer to join their dynamic Manufacturing Design Engineering (MDE) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving improvements to products and processes to support manufacturing growth and innovation projects. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and quality of product delivery, ensuring high-value products are developed on time and to rigorous standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide feedback on Design for Manufacture to Product Design and New Product Launch teamsManage product specifications and Bill of Materials (BOMs)Lead multiple projects in collaboration with Operations and Engineering TeamsInvestigate and resolve technical challenges on PCBA to support manufacturing processesRelease, update, and control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Offer technical guidance to Supply Chain and Outsourcing teamsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actionsGenerate, review, and approve Engineering Change OrdersEssential Skills & ExperienceDegree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical EngineeringExperience in Lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, VSM, SMED, and cellular manufacturingProficiency in CAD design, particularly Fixture & tooling designStrong electrical troubleshooting skills (desirable)Knowledge of Data Analysis for root cause analysisWillingness to travel to other sites for extended periods for process improvementDesirable Skills & ExperienceFamiliarity with Electrical TroubleshootingBackground in Data Analysis using defect dataCall to ActionIf you are a qualified and motivated Manufacturing Design Engineer looking to advance your career in a fast-growing industry-leading company, we invite you to submit your CV today.
