Electrician The Opportunity We are recruiting an accomplished and focused Electrician to take on a pivotal role within our property services team, primarily operating within Andover and the surrounding areas. This position demands a specialist in electrical testing and certification, coupled with the proven ability to execute high-quality reactive and planned maintenance work across our social housing stock. Core Responsibilities and Duties Mandatory Testing Program: Lead and execute the mandated five-year cyclical electrical safety inspection program across all properties, including individual homes and associated communal zones. Produce meticulous Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and accurately complete subsequent required remedial actions. Perform initial verification and final commissioning tests for all new installations and circuit modifications. Repairs, Upgrades, and Voids: Provide a comprehensive repairs service, efficiently diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults reported by residents. Deliver all necessary electrical installations and checks to facilitate the rapid turnaround of empty properties ('Voids'). Support major planned investment projects by completing electrical elements for kitchen, bathroom, and heating system modernizations.
