Are you ready to take the next step in your career, delivering professional outsourced accounting services while working closely with a diverse range of clients? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Outsourcing team in a forward-thinking accountancy firm.


The Opportunity:


As an Outsourcing Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, technology-driven accounting services. You'll be responsible for preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts, VAT returns, and assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements. In addition, you’ll support clients with insights through key performance indicators and advisory services.

This role offers the chance to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, providing you with a mix of autonomy and support. You'll work with a team committed to excellence and innovation, where there’s significant scope for professional development and progression into senior roles.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements.
  • Delivering advisory services, analyzing data, and presenting insights.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Supervising, delegating, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and client developments.
  • Traveling to client premises as required.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience working in public practice, delivering outsourced services to clients.
  • Strong technical skills, including VAT and UK GAAP knowledge.
  • Expertise in accounting software, especially Xero (knowledge of Caseware is advantageous).
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, oversee teams, and provide self-reviewed, high-quality work.
  • Client-facing experience with a focus on relationship-building.
