An excellent opportunity for a RWE Data Scientist role for a Mid size Pharmaceutical client , the role is an 18 month contract which is fully remote , the role will be working across , Europe, Canada and Asia and will be responsible for Value Evidence Generation & Global HTA operations , working with cross-functional teams helping the development of value evidence across the product life cycle in alignment with payer/HTA needs globally.
- Develop protocols and assist in the implementation and execution (from conceptualization to development) of global VRWE studies whilst closely collaborating with global VRWE team and relevant regional stakeholders.
- Provide scientific input related to HTA methodological and evidentiary requirements
- Prepare and deliver proposals, technical reports, user guides, slide set presentations, conference abstracts, manuscripts, and other deliverables with guidance from the Director.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and deliverables.
- Present research findings internally and at professional conferences.
- Conduct systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses to support the development of protocols and evidence-gap analyses.
- PhD in economics/health economics, pharmaceutical outcomes and policy, statistics, biostatistics, decision sciences, health services research,
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Willingness to partner with cross-functional stakeholders at global and regional levels
- Robust experience in project management.
- Experience conducting targeted searches of the literature to identify key data or evidence
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent knowledge of clinical development, study designs and data interpretation
- Good understanding of qualitative and quantitative approaches
- Experience with both retrospective and prospective non-interventional study designs and requirements for successful study execution
- Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory requirements from a global perspective and product development processes at all life cycle stages.
- Knowledge of international healthcare systems and their changing needs for HTA submission
- Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work independently, deal with complex issues and relate to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
