MB617: StonemasonLocation: Manchester and surrounding countiesSalary: £42,900Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm with overtime available on a SaturdayAdditional Company Benefits: Company Vehicle, Tools, PPE, Career DevelopmentOverview:First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic specialist restoration business who are looking to recruit a Stonemason on a permanent basis due to growth.Duties and Responsibilities:Renovations of historic and heritage buildings.Travel to multiple sites across the North of the UK (predominantly from Manchester to Leeds)Creating daily records and updating BMS (business management system)Ordering of materialsEnsuring project follow programme and stay within budgetAssist project/contract manager with long term planningEnsure strict health and safety procedures are adhered toMay be required to assist in other areas if skills allow and are required.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Stonemason, preferably in architectural stone masonry.Proficiency in various stone cutting, carving, and shaping techniques.Knowledge of different types of stones and their properties.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.Strong understanding of health and safety practices in the construction industry.Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.Good communication and teamwork skills.Relevant certifications or qualifications in stonemasonry.MB617: StonemasonLocation: Manchester and surrounding countiesSalary: £42,900Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm with overtime available on a SaturdayAdditional Company Benefits: Company Vehicle, Tools, PPE, Career Development
