By combining innovative ideas, data-driven insights, and smart planning, we're helping to create safer, more efficient transport networks that meet the needs of both the community and our clients.The OpportunityWe're looking for Graduate Transport Planners to join our team of bright professionals across several of our UK offices. By being part of our transport planning team, you will help to provide expert guidance, make recommendations, and help to identify solutions tailored to a client's or project's specific needs. It involves understanding the bigger picture, listening to stakeholders, analysing data, and providing informed advice to help make better decisions.You'll help us to deliver exciting and interesting projects for a range of varied and high-profile clients. While you'll have a great deal of opportunity from day one, we'll give you the chance to take on more responsibility as you progress and broaden your skills with guidance and support throughout. Typical day to day responsibilities may include but are not limited to: preparing reports on technical analysis and findings; undertaking numerical analysis; understanding various computer software tools ranging from Microsoft Excel through to specific modelling packages; working on technical, research and strategy reports; solving technical problems and providing innovative solutions as your level of experience develops; and undertaking site visits as requiredIs this role right for you?We're looking for graduates with curiosity, personal drive and acumen to develop technical skills. If you can combine these skills with an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) Transport Planning and a desire to deliver excellent services for clients, we'd like to hear from you.We're Looking For The Following Qualifications, Attributes, And Skills Bachelor's degree in subjects relating to Civil or other Engineering, Geography, Planning, Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Data/Computer Science, with a prediction of 2:1 or higher OR; Data analytics or Transport Planning-based Master's degree or other relevant topic with a prediction of Pass or above is advantageous; Enthusiasm for a career in Analysis and Planning, underpinned through a knowledge and understanding of our sector and work A planned and organised approach to work and meeting deadlines We're Looking ForChangemakers:A passion for sustainable development and creating a better world is key.Innovative minds: We're looking for critical thinkers who embrace new ideas and challenge the status quo.Growth seekers: You have a growth mindset, always eager to learn and explore new ways of working.Adaptable adventurers: You're ready to take on any challenge that comes your way.You should be able to start this opportunity in September 2026.
