Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Northampton, UK

Salary: £45,000 Basic + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits

What You Will Receive as a Technical Sales Engineer

  • Earn a competitive salary of £45,000 with a car or car allowance, plus an above-average pension.
  • This new role offers a direct path to Sales Director, where you'll build your own team.

Your Role as a Technical Sales Engineer

  • Cultivate relationships with existing accounts and leverage legislative drivers to secure sales.
  • Navigate long sales cycles, engaging multiple stakeholders with patience and technical expertise.
  • Confidently discuss product technology, leveraging your technical sales background.
  • Respond to ITTs and prepare compelling tender documents for large deals.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and contribute to the company's strategic growth.


What is required as a Technical Sales Engineer

  • Ideally you will be a graduate and possess a STEM related degree and have a couple of year’s experience in technical sales.
  • You excel at building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • You're comfortable working autonomously and thrive in a small, dynamic environment.
  • You have a keen eye for opportunities and can contribute valuable ideas.
  • You're willing to "muck in" and contribute to all aspects of the business.
