Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Client Manager Accountant located in Derby. As a Client Manager Accountant, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and providing expert financial advice. You will also be responsible for supervising a team of junior staff including reviewing work, mentoring, training and development, to ensure timely accurate client bookkeeping, budgeting, and monthly or quarterly financial management reporting.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organised, able to multi-task, oversee workflow and ensure that all deadlines are met. We’re also seeking an accountant who is adept at nurturing first class relationships with valued client.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and techniques
  • Experience in managing client accounts and preparing management accounts.
  • Familiarity with tax returns for VAT, CT, and Income Tax etc.
  • Ability to provide expert financial advice to clients
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good experience of working in Accountancy practice

·    Be technically competent (including Xero, Sage and Quickbooks)

·    Must have excellent time management and organisational skills

·    Have good team management skills

·    Have good people skills

·    Self motivated and with a can-do attitude

·    Commercial awareness
