Based in their group head office, this role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, manage complex financial reporting tasks, and liaise with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the group consolidation process for a large number of entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of consolidated financial statements.
  2. Lead the preparation and presentation of group financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
  3. Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  4. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide insights into financial performance and contribute to key decision-making processes.
  5. Ensure the group's financial reporting aligns with the latest IFRS standards, accounting regulations, and best practices.
  6. Manage the preparation of statutory accounts for the group and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting requirements.
  7. Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  8. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the Group Finance Director and other senior management.
Key Requirements:
  1. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
  2. Extensive experience in group financial reporting and consolidation, ideally in a large, multi-entity PLC environment.
  3. Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  4. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  5. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.
  6. Strong technical skills, with experience in financial systems and reporting tools.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
