We are currently looking for a MHE Trainer

The purpose of MHE Trainer within the business is to train operatives within all departments against SOP’s, policies, work instructions and processes required to carry out the task(s) correctly, safely, and efficiently. Ensuring that training records and compliance training is kept up to date. Operations trainer will also continuously provide high-level of coaching and mentoring. Operations trainer is also responsible for onboarding process, ensuring that all employees have everything they need to do their job, and provide support with anything work related i.e. pay queries, translation, PPE etc. This will result in employees feeling welcomed to the business.

The primary objectives of the role

- Training and coaching against SOP’s, policies, procedures, processes, and safe systems of work to all operatives within all departments, including new starters (both MM and Agency).

- Responsible for creating, amending, and reviewing any SOP’s and procedures in conjunction with relevant area teams and training Manager.

- Ensure that all training records (including competency checks) are kept up to date.

- Ensuring that wellbeing checks are carried out within the deadline and any issues resolved.

- Delivering Company Induction when required.

- Liaise with Section Leaders and Section Managers regarding training and onboarding progress.

- Maintain the training system for all Operatives ensuring the system reflects accurate and up to date training levels.

- Maintain training tracker accurately and in a timely manner.

- Participate in internal and external audits by ensuring that all training records are up to date and accessible.

- Flexibility will be required to occasionally cover nights or other shift to ensure training is consistent throughout all shifts.

- Advise on specific training requirements for individuals and supporting departmental managers in identifying training needs.

- Supporting Operational teams during business peak periods.

- Support other sites where required.

- Support any new equipment trials.

- Provide quality MHE training along with evaluation and feedback from candidates (if applicable)

What you can already do

  • Experience with WMS systems
  • Previous experience of working in a Production / Warehouse environment
  • Train the Trainer certificate
  • MHE licences
