Our client, a top 200 law firm, is seeking a private client Solicitor or Associate to join its thriving Private Client team in Birmingham.

The Role

You will handle a broad caseload, including:

  • Drafting Wills, managing Powers of Attorney and administering estates
  • Providing inheritance tax advice and estate planning solutions
  • Creating and managing trusts

You will benefit from being part of a supportive, established team of client-focused Private Client specialists, working alongside regionally and nationally recognised practitioners.

This role offers opportunities for professional development and career progression within a firm that is committed to supporting your growth.

What We're Looking For

  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a current practising certificate
  • 3–5+ years PQE, with solid experience in drafting Wills, administering estates and advising on inheritance tax
  • Experience in trusts and a willingness to develop your expertise in estate and tax planning
  • Membership of STEP and/or SFE is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong IT and case management skills, coupled with a solutions-driven approach and an appreciation of risk management
  • Confidence managing your own caseload and collaborating across teams to deliver holistic client solutions
