We are working with a successful organisation based in Hampshire who are looking to recruit a FP&A Analyst, you will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and decision support and strategy across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs, provide financial insights, and support their budgeting, forecasting and commercial activities
  • Support financial planning preparing and managing the company’s annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Provide financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and insights
  • Liaise with Head of Financial Reporting and other finance teams as required
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance and identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic planning
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve financial outcomes
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across the organization
  • Liaise with other group companies to collate group wide information, analysis and reporting as requested, liaising with other group companies as necessary
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required to support business initiatives and decision-making
  • Assist with the collation of market analysis to understand industry
  • trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors impacting the business.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives, including investment appraisals, M&A and any other ad-hoc work as requested by the Head of FP&A.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong systems and analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely for non-financial users
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment across different teams and geographies
