Planner / Scheduler - £26,000 - DudleyI am working with a manufacturing company who is enjoying continued growth and therefore seeking to appointment a Planner / Expeditor.The successful Planner / Expeditor will create and follow a professional production planning and scheduling system with reference to capacity and to meet customer expectations on timely delivery,Responsibilities of the Planner / Expeditor * Creating and developing Production Plans and issuing * Updating status of Production Plans * Liaise with Planners to meet required lead times * Report any issues that affect lead times * Update capacity hours to Senior Planner * Liaise with Sales on customer requirements and lead times * Plan in holiday requirements * Run daily negative report on stock and investigate * Run Variant Report Month end stock, distribute to section leads and collate information. Investigate discrepancies * Daily stock checks and investigations * Working in SAGE to issue material to work orders * Expediting work through shop floor production departments * Updating and creating excel documents to support production requirementsRequirements * Excellent communication skills * Competent in Outlook, Excel and Sage (preferably Sage 200) * Can do attitude * Team player * Good attention to detail * Previous administration experience is a ‘must’ * A good energy and enthusiasmThis is a great opportunity to join a fantastic company as part of a successful team and there is the possibility of career progression.Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.Alcea Consultancy are acting as an employment business/agency in relation to this vacancy
