Location: Remote – With monthly visits to our Chandlers Ford office

Salary: To £60,116 + 15% bonus

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for a Procurement Category Lead, to support our technology arm. You will manage the end-to-end process of the procurement cycle, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil their procurement requirements.


What does this role involve?


Day to day, you will;


  • Help design and deliver the procurement strategy which aligns to the overall business aims;
  • Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers on goods and services to achieve the best value, whilst considering quality, reliability of the source and urgency of need;
  • Develop procurement policies and procedures;
  • Line manage Procurement Specialists, helping to train and develop their skills and knowledge;
  • Oversee and evaluate Requests for Quotation/Proposals (RFQ/RFP)
  • Drive value for the business;


Who are we looking for?


Your previous knowledge in end-to-end sourcing of Technology related products and services, will enable you to swiftly make a positive impact.


Your business acumen, communication and negotiating skills will allow you to get to the heart of what your customers need and drive value in all aspects of your role.


Your collaborative approach with allow you to build effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.


Previous management experience would be advantageous as this role involves managing a small team.


A procurement-related qualification such as CIPS is desirable but not essential, as we will support the successful candidate to obtain this qualification.


Most of the team work remotely, however, they love to come together face to face to maintain relationships and collaborate on projects and you will need to be at our head office in Chandlers Ford at least once per month.
