The role of an exam invigilator is to conduct examination invigilation by ensuring guidelines/regulations are strictly adhered to for integrity of candidates and security of examination papers/ login details before, during and after an examination session.Duties include:Preparation of the exam room prior to candidates arriving including logging exam computers into the exams platform.To check the correct examination papers/login details are present.To liaise directly with the Exams Officer/College IT department should issues arise during the exam.To ensure that the right candidates attend and check photo identification.To explain examination conditions/rules and code of conduct to candidates before the start of the examination in line with the JCQ regulationsTo control the examination environment, appropriate reporting of incidents and ensure a fair and calm process.To occasionally facilitate Exams Access Arrangements.To ensure that examinatio...
