Quality Engineer / Site Inspector required to support the construction, structural steel and building envelope on prestigious project in Deeside.The postholder will be working alongside the Quality Manager supporting the following: Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications  Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met. Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers, sub-contractor, and other trade handovers  Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety. Site Quality inspection plans and assessments.  Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level.  Raising Non-Conformance Reports and follow through for claims and corrective actions. Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, and systems. Writing management and technical reports and customers' charters. Determining training needs. Encouraging change and improvement in performance and quality. Directing objectives to maximise profitability.  Recording, analysing, and distributing statistical information. Carrying out and monitoring testing and inspection of products and materials to ensure the finished product meets quality standards. Monitoring performance. Building strong working relationship with clients QA team The successful candidate:Essential: Previous construction site experience, IT literate and be able to prepare Quality Plans, Test Reports, Non-conformance Reports, EWNs & Compile Quality Records Packages. Advantageous: Knowledge of Welding, Steel Erection, Cladding etc.Qualifications: Quality / Inspection Qualification an advantage, CSCS Card is essential.
