Electronics Engineer - Embedded DSP – Wiltshire £40-60K + Benefits As an Electronics Engineer - Embedded DSP, you will be taking an established product range in remote, high-resolution sensor equipment, power supplies and communications equipment to the next generation. You will be familiar with OFDM and FEC techniques and have experience writing embedded microcontroller code for timing-critical applications. Experience with Matlab/Octave would be an advantage as would a working understanding of baseband analogue circuit design. Your responsibilities will include maintenance and development of the design, participation in code review, performing other programming tasks, providing troubleshooting assistance and technical support to other team members Experience required2+ years as an Electronics Engineer or similar roleDigital Signal Processing experience (DSP)Experience working with OFDM technologiesKnowledge of Forward Error Correction methodsExpertise in signal processing theory, algorithms, and implementation techniquesExpertise in embedded code for timing critical applicationsDSP implementation on small microcontrollers and FPGAsSkills & QualificationsBA in Electrical Engineering or Computer ScienceProficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and VHDLProficiency in modelling packages such as Matlab or OctaveStrong ability to write structured code and clear documentationAbility to work independently and collaborate in a team environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsThis role offers the opportunity to gain broad experience developing a bespoke product range including communications modules, motor controllers, sensors and power supplies for a much-admired international organisation.   For more information please apply today
