Senior Civil Engineer – Water & Wastewater Infrastructure Ready to Make a Real Impact? We’re seeking a passionate Senior Civil Engineer to help shape the future of water and wastewater treatment across the Thames Valley and Home Counties. This is a chance to contribute meaningfully to AMP8 delivery—modernising treatment works, enhancing essential services, and protecting the environment for generations to come. What You’ll Be Doing * Lead the design development of multiple water and wastewater network projects from concept and feasibility through to contract award. * Identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to unlock opportunities and enable accurate scope definition and pricing. * Oversee contractor-led detailed design and ensure necessary design changes are implemented during construction. * Support project teams during commissioning and asset handover phases. * Conduct design reviews to ensure robust, safe, and operationally sound solutions. * Act as the key contact for CDM Designer or Principal Designer responsibilities during early design stages. This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week on-site. The standard working week is 36 hours, Monday to Friday.
