An award-winning, innovative, and forward-thinking Interior & Architecture practice in Central London is looking for an experienced EA & Business Support. This is a 12-month maternity contract, starting in January 2025.

This individual will provide EA support to their inspirational Founding Director and general managerial oversight of all functions in the business including Operations, HR, Finance, and Events.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
  1. Working closely with the Principal Director to ensure business administration is fully coordinated.
  2. Comprehensive diary management for the Principal Director.
  3. Management of administration team (up to 5 people).
  4. HR and Recruitment administration.
  5. Management of Principal Director’s emails in their absence and action as necessary.
  6. Coordination and production of fee proposals - RFP’s, creation of bid/marketing proposals.
  7. Liaising with insurers and lawyers regarding client contracts, office insurance policies.
  8. Financial administration – preparing monthly invoices and associated letters/schedules.
  9. Adhoc office projects.
  10. Adhoc event coordination – internal and external.
  11. Monthly expenses.
  12. Misc. tasks – updating contacts, answering the telephone, filing, travel and accommodation reservations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of EA/Business support experience, ideally in one of the following industries: Interiors, Design, Construction, Property or Architecture. Previous experience managing an admin team or HR involvement is a plus.

Key skills required: very strong attention to detail, highly numerate, knowledge of InDesign and SharePoint, and strong Word and Excel.

You will need to be client-facing, upbeat, warm, calm, and a real team player, who people will turn to when things go wrong, happy in the knowledge that they will be sorted out both rapidly and efficiently.
