General Assistant

Baxterstorey is seeking 2 friendly and efficient General Assistants to join our team in Nottingham United this role you will support our operations by assisting with various tasks in our food service environment.Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleaguesAssist with food preparation and presentation ensuring high standards of hygiene and qualityMaintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining and kitchen areasOperate cash registers and handle transactions accuratelyRestock supplies and monitor inventory levelsSupport the team during peak hours and special eventsAdhere to health and safety regulations at all timesPerform additional duties as assigned by the management teamQualifications : Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanourBasic knowledge of food handling and hygiene practicesStrong time keeping abilities and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with a positive attitude and willingness to learnPrevious experience in hospitality or food service is desirableFood hygiene certificate is preferred but not essential as training will be providedFlexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and evenings as requiredAbility to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weightsStrong communication skills and attention to detailAdditional Information : For almost 20 years for every client in every location (whether thats an office stadium cathedral or university) we have created beautiful spaces exciting menus and friendly teams so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.We need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
