Strip Fit/MET TechnicianLocation: SheernessShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pmSalary: £12- £14ph+ - Negotiable depending on experience, PAYEContract Type: Ongoing workIgloo is looking for Strip Fitters to join our client’s team in Sheerness.Our client is a leading finished vehicle logistics company with locations across the UK, who specialise in new and used vehicle preparation, logistics and secure storage to the automotive industry.Your main duties will include: * Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal of vehicle parts (body parts, mechanical, electrical, and trim) * Removing damaged components in preparation for repairs. * Re-fitting components to restore the vehicle back to a manufacturer approved standard. * Ad hoc duties as and when required.What Kind of Person Are We Looking For? * Previous experience within a similar role is essential. * Can work efficiently but to a high standard. * Must have your own basic tools. * Hold a full, category B driving license, with no more than 6 points for minor offences. * Strong organisational skills. * Must be able to work well within a team
