Proclinical is seeking an Analytics Lead who will act as a strategic thought partner and integral contributor to operational planning efforts. The role requires a blend of forecasting, advanced data analytics, and product management capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic operational insights, leveraging large/complex datasets, and delivering end-to-end analytical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various teams to understand business needs, priorities, and immediate scope of work.
  • Apply advanced analytics methods to measure study performance and guide portfolio-level decisions.
  • Create and manage tools for accurate short-and long-term forecasts.
  • Communicate the effects of trial design elements, country and site selection, competitor activities, and new engagement tactics on clinical trial recruitment & retention forecasts.
  • Apply analytical and statistical methods to answer business questions using multiple data sources and technical tools/languages.
  • Support the identification of appropriate sites and countries for trial placement.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to develop solutions, gain alignment, and deliver impactful business insights.
  • Stay current with and adopt emergent relevant methodologies, tools, and applications to ensure fit-for-purpose and impactful approaches.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physical Sciences or related field); MBA or Graduate-level Degree is preferred.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or management consulting.
  • Expertise in Patient Insights, Investigator Insights, Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, Data Analytics, Advanced Data Analytics, Resourcing, Information Visualization and/or Data Science.
  • Experience with various forecasting methods and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of applying exploratory & confirmatory data analysis techniques that inform business decisions.
  • Experience with scripting, statistical & programming languages and analytical tools (i.e. Python, R, SQL, Matlab, SAS, Google/Adobe analytics).
  • Ability to merge together data sets from disparate sources and report findings in a variety of formats and mediums.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
