Linux EngineerWe’re looking for a Linux Engineer to join a growing engineering function responsible for a high-performance computing (HPC) environment. You’ll be part of the team that owns and operates the Linux estate end-to-end, from OS build and configuration through to ongoing operational support.This role offers the chance to work within a highly specialised, large-scale compute environment while contributing to the evolution and automation of core infrastructure services.Key responsibilities:Build, configure, and maintain Linux environments (Rocky/RHEL)Develop and enhance automation using GitLab, Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and Ansible GalaxySupport secure infrastructure operations using tooling such as HashiCorp Vault and TemporalWork with HPC-related technologies including Nvidia Spectrum XContribute to continuous improvement across OS lifecycle management and automation pipelinesRequirements:Strong experience working with Linux in automated or IaC-driven environmentsHands-on experience with tools such as Terraform and AnsibleComfortable working across build, deployment, and operational supportHardware and networking experience is desirable but not essentialStrong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindsetSelf-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-evolving environmentWhat’s on offer:Highly competitive salaryHybrid model including 2 days onsite in LondonAll travel costs covered, plus quality-of-life upgrades such as fast-track airport access and premium hotelsStrong benefits package and opportunities for technical developmentIf this sounds like you, click apply and one of the Provn team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity in more detail.Provn Talent Solutions Ltd is operating as an employment agency under the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
