Principal Property + Regeneration Lawyer – London – Competitive Hourly Rate – Hybrid Working

Position: Principal Property and Regeneration Lawyer

Organisation: London based Local Authority

Duration: 3 month initial contract

Working Pattern: Full time

Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working- two days a week office attendance

Hourly Rate:  Competitive hourly rate

Venn Group’s legal team are working with a London basedLocal Authority to recruit a Locum Principal Property + Regeneration Lawyer to join their team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be either an experienced Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has extensive experience of handling a wide range of Property and Regeneration matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven lawyer with managerial experience.

 Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.

Duties shall include:

  1. To prepare, negotiate and advise on all aspects of commercial property work and regeneration projects
  2. To have conduct of legal files and case management
  3. Draft, amend and finalise legal documents in relation to property and regeneration matters
  4. Provide support and guidance to junior staff members, contributing to their professional development
