IRS Group, are recruiting a Junior Hygiene Manager .Our client are the market leaders in the development of coatings, mixtures, and marinades for the food industry and are looking for someone to join our team.This will be a full-time and permanent opportunity for the right applicant.Working Hours are across day-shifts, Monday to Friday. We are flexible on start and finish times to suit the individual across 0600am starts - 5pm finish. This can be discussed during the interview process.This role will include the following;To Manage a team of hygiene Supervisors & Operatives to ensure that factory hygiene is kept to industry and customer standards.To ensure that cleaning procedures and methods are adequate to prevent contamination of product.Support with the hygiene aspect of internal, customer and third party technical/hygiene visits and auditsTo ensure that all team members are fully trained in the tasks they are expected to undertake. Arrange staff rotas and overtime as required.To ensure that all site areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the shift, including all offices and amenities, and that all relevant paperwork is correctly filled in and signed off as verification.To work closely with all other site colleagues to ensure that correct hygiene procedures are adhered to and escalate issues where food safety or quality may be compromise.To ensure cleans are completed to schedule and to the site and customer standards , GMP hygiene standards are met, internal and external audits are passed.To drive forward hygiene standards in line with the company’s continuous improvement ethos.Ideal candidate will come from a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing plant.This role will come with further opportunities for training and development.Please submit your CV for immediate consideration
