A Group Accountant is required for a vibrant business services company in Darlington. The successful candidate will be a key team member within the Accounting & Finance department.

Description

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Conducting financial analysis to assist with decision-making processes
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations
  • Assisting with the coordination of audits
  • Providing support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as needed
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the department

Profile

A successful Group Accountant should have:

  • A relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements
  • A solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
