About the roleAs a qualified Dispensing Optician you will be providing a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in one of our stores reporting to the Store Manager.Responsibilities include: Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service. Listening to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice. Helping our customers to choose the correct eyewear and offer guidance to ensure our customers receive the best product suited to their needs. Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally. Our bright modern store was fully refitted in February and has two well-equipped testing rooms including OCT and phoropters giving you everything you need to deliver excellent patient care.This is a full-time role 5 days per week including either one fixed weekend day or alternate weekends if you work both Saturday and Sunday. Hours are 95 (weekdays) and 10:304 (Sundays). Occasional sickness cover may be required.Youll be joining a small friendly team of 9 colleagues including 2 Optometrists and 2 phoropters-trained staff.
